Special Provisions have been taken throughout the property to create a friendly haven for the abundant bird and animal life. The Osprey Platform, erected by students of a local high school, is one example of the active conservation measures undertaken on site.

The Osprey Platform can be accessed from the Donevan Trail, or by car along the Cross Cemetery Road . The osprey arrive around April 1st and the adult sized fledglings leave by late August. Look for indigo buntings in the platform area.
